Production week 6
Welcome to production week 6!
The end is near and so is the final production sprint. With this post we mark the official end of production, from here on out we'll get out the cleaning material and polish for another 2 weeks. This week we finalized the mechanical part of the hell transition, added our first particles and, most importantly, we added hats!
Firepole: You can now glide from the firepole!
Hell: The inability to tag your friends will now induce a rage the world hasn't seen before. For a short while the environment will change, swapping the cosy playground into a true hellscape. Watch out for the geysers and lava!
Hats: Customization has arrived! Unleash your inner knight, pull the sword from the stone and tag your friends! In the classroom you can know select which hat you want to play with. More hats are on their way!
Particles: One of the main points of feedback that we got was readability, it wasn't always clear who was the tagger or when a tag succeeds. Insert particles! A first batch of particles have arrived making both the scene feel more alive and giving the player more feedback about what is happening.
